Privacy Policy

BeadBop (beadbop.com) is an abacus and mental-math learning app for children. We collect as little as possible and never sell data.

What we collect

• From Google Sign-In: your name, email address and profile picture, and Google's account ID. Nothing else from your Google account.
• Learning progress: lessons completed, stars, XP, badges, game best scores, streak days, the display name and avatar chosen in the app, and sound preference.
• A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 60 days. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

Only to sign you in, save your progress and show it back to you on any device. We do not show ads, sell, rent or share your data, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Children

BeadBop is designed for children aged 5–12 and should be set up by a parent or guardian using their Google account (or a child account they manage, such as Google Family Link). Parents can export, reset or delete their child's data at any time.

Storage and security

Data is stored on our server in Microsoft Azure (India region) and sent only over encrypted HTTPS connections, via Cloudflare.

Deleting your data

Use “Reset all progress” on the Progress page to clear progress, or email us to delete your account and all its data. We delete it within 30 days.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date below.
